Fisker
Based in New York City, Fisker Inc. is primarily an electric vehicle start-up, but it has since shifted toward premium, design focused electric vehicles. The primary vehicle the company currently produces is the Fisker Ocean, a midsize SUV; however, mass production is halted, and the company files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June 2024, and thus produces no vehicles as of this writing.
Information About Fisker
Henrik Fisker has been behind two electric vehicle companies named Fisker. Fisker Automotive was the first, and it produces the Fisker Karma, then goes bankrupt and rebrands as another electric vehicle company under new ownership. Fisker Inc. produces the upcoming Fisker Ocean, then subsequently files for bankruptcy.
When shopping for a used vehicle in the Fisker brand, customers tend to share a few common themes: people who want a vehicle that is different than their friends, an electric SUV that comes packed with features, or a rare early production plug in hybrid. In terms of value, the Fisker Ocean appeals to many EV buyers because it is built through a contract with Magna Steyr, contains new technology, and is practical within a compact SUV body style. The Karma also appeals to some as a rare collectible due to its low production volumes and emphasis on design.
Whether you are a buyer or seller, demand is at its highest if you can provide documentation showing completed recalls and software updates, include charging equipment, document the health of the battery, and give details about service and parts after bankruptcy. In addition, due to a lack of production and history, having a clean title, remaining warranty coverage if transferable, and full disclosure about repair history is worth more than usual when selling a Fisker vehicle.
Popular Fisker Vehicles Wanted
We are in the process of purchasing Fisker vehicles of any and all types, whether they are newer electric vehicles or older trucks.
Each vehicle we buy is evaluated against title status, miles driven, general condition, and what type of documents are available on file (service records, key fobs, registration papers, etc.), though they are not required.
The condition of your Fisker vehicle does not determine whether or not we buy it, including clean titles and branded titles. Therefore, we buy collision damaged or storm impacted vehicles. We also purchase high mileage vehicles and non-running vehicles.
We accept vehicles with cosmetic or mechanical problems and want Fiskers with no keys, warning lights, no titles, or expired tags.
